Today’s saint picture: Saint Mary Zhu Wu

Today’s saint is Saint Mary Zhu Wu, a Chinese lay Christian who was martyred during the Boxer rebellion in China.

I continue my experiments with Procreate, although I had a bit of a mishap today. I had created my preliminary sketch in blue but I forgot to start a new layer when I did the engraving, an error I only discovered when I was nearly done with the picture. Being lazy and impatient, I ended up finding an online tool that would replace the blue, but thanks to Procreate thinking I wanted to be artistic on the blue layer, not all of it registered as blue so there are still some artifacts visible if you look closely.
