Read at The Whistler for the Milwaukee Avenue Messenger issue launch event. Pretty good attendance overall, which was nice to see. Reading my poems, I found myself thinking that they were not too bad at all.
I did have to duck out a little early since I had to help determine whether my son was as prepared as he thought he was to pitch his proposed science fair project to a skeptical teacher.
