My submission pace picked up a bit this year in both fiction and poetry. On the fiction front, it was a better than average year with my acceptance rate at 3.2% (up slightly from last year’s 3%) and a positive response rate (personal rejections plus acceptances) of 29% up significantly from last year’s 24%).

In poetry, things went even better: My acceptance rate was 4.5% (up from last year’s 2.4%) and for the first time higher than my fiction acceptance rate. Positive responses were also up at 23.7% which is higher than last year’s 11.2%, but less than 2022’s 26.3%. The weird thing is that in this pretty good year, the non-response rate is way up.

Here again are my publications for 2025.
